The Process
FAQs

I cannot afford to buy new kitchen units, is repainting the existing one an option?

Absolutely.  You will be amazed at how new an old kitchen can look after being painted.

I have oak effect kitchen units can they be painted?

Yes and if you opt for a light colour paint it will make the room look brighter too.

How much will painting my kitchen units cost?

We offer a free no obligation quote, but we will need to see your kitchen before a quote can be issued.  The final cost will depend on the number of units and doors that need painting.  The key to the best possible finish is all in the preparation for example kitchen units tend to attract grease which needs to be completely removed before any painting can take place.  Please see the question below that explains the process.

What process do you use to paint the kitchen units?

Do you paint the kitchen units ‘in situ’?

Yes and No.  We will paint the carcusses and frames in the property.  However, we will take the doors away to our workshop to prepare and paint them.

How long will it take to get the kitchen painted?

Again that depends entirely on the how many doors and carcasses you have.

I already have a painted kitchen can it be resprayed again?

Yes, it may take extra coats of paint depending on the original colour and your new colour though.

Would you be able to paint a dresser to match the kitchen?

Yes, we also specialise in spray painting furniture.  Please see the section on the website if you want further details.

What do we have to do to prepare for you painting our kitchen units?

We would ask that all units are emptied and any items that are valuable or fragile be placed somewhere safe.

Will there be a lot of dust?

By the nature of the preparation of the carcasses and frames there will be dust but we clean up after ourselves each day.

What happens if we want new work tops and handles?

Again that is no problem.  We can advise, supply and fit new work tops (including granite), handles and hinges.
